TUITION PAYMENTS –
Payment Terms: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required upon enrollment. Your spot is not held until the deposit has been paid. The deposit is applied to the total tuition. The remaining balance is due depending on whether you choose the payment plan or pay in full amount, but not later then June 17th, 2018. Although we prefer checks, payments may be made by debit/credit card,or though PayPal. Space is limited so we encourage you to register early.
HEALTH FORMS and INFORMATION–
All forms will be emailed to you in April. All forms will be filled out online:
- Registration/Medical Form
- Self-Administered Medication Form
All medication is kept with our camp nurse with the exception of self-administering emergency medication such as epi-pens. All medication must be in the original container with instructions on the container and will be dispensed according to the physician's orders. Please do not bring homeopathic medication or vitamins. Please complete the Medication section on the Health History Form.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION – Campers arrive on Sunday, June 24, 2018 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Arrival information emails are sent several days prior to your son/daughter’s arrival. Therefore, it is important that we have an email address for each camper’s family.
DEPARTURE INFORMATION - Departure is on Saturday, June 30th, 2018, immediately following the Camp Showcase and no later than 12:00pm. If you have arranged for another family to bring your son/daughter home from camp, please complete the Parents Permission Form in your packet.
SHOWCASE- At the end of the week the campers will be putting on a Camp Showcase which will coincide with picking up your camper. Parents and family are encouraged to attend. The Showcase will start promptly at 10:00am on Saturday, June 30th, 2018. Following the Showcase, we invite families to attend a farewell reception with cookies and punch. Campers will then gather their belongings and head home with their families. PACKING LIST – The camper packing list is available on the Parents page of our website. CAMPER EMAIL– Emails can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject line, please put your child’s first and last name. Please limit your emails to 2-3 for the week. Campers do not have the ability to send emails back. Emails will be delivered during meal times each day.
CAMP RULES/POLICIES – Cell phones, video players, electronics requiring an electrical outlet and weapons of any kind are prohibited. We discourage you from bringing valuable personal items to camp. Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. No pets of any kind are allowed at camp at any time, including Opening and Closing Days. Camp Star Bound is a drug free, smoke free, alcohol free and bully free camp. We have a zero tolerance policy for any of this kind of behavior and you will be sent home if you break these rules.
VISITS AND TELEPHONE CALLS – We do not have a visiting day. Phone calls will be made only in case of an emergency. If you feel you need to find out how your son/daughter is adjusting, please call 775-232-3015 or 775-342-3220, and a camp director we will be happy to speak with you. We will update the Camp Star Bound facebook page daily so you can check out what your camper has been up to.
BUNK ASSIGNMENTS – If your son/daughter has one or two friends of the same age and gender with whom he or she would like to have as bunk mates, we will gladly consider your requests, although we can make no definite commitments.
REFUND POLICY - Refunds will be granted prior to May 28th, 2018 minus the $100 non-refundable registration fee. No refunds will be given after May 28th, 2018.
